“ವಿದ್ಯಾ ದಾನಂ ಮಹಾ ದಾನಂ.”
(Vidya Daanam Maha Daanam — The gift of education is the greatest gift.)
The Cardinal Preschool was born not from a business plan — but from a mother’s heart.
As we say in Kannada, “ವಿದ್ಯಾ ದಾನಂ ಮಹಾ ದಾನಂ” — the gift of education is the greatest gift.
Growing up, I always believed that serving humanity is sacred. And while I dreamed of being a doctor, I realised that shaping a child’s mind, habits, values, and safety is also a divine service.
When my own children were in preschool, I often wondered — Are they safe? Did they eat? Are they enjoying? That constant worry never allowed me to give my 100% at work.
That is when the dream took form — to create a preschool where parents feel peaceful and children feel truly cherished.
What began as the heartfelt vision of two sisters, two mothers, two doctors has today grown into a trusted brand among mothers — a true home-away-from-home where love meets learning.
And just as no two fingers are alike, every child is beautifully unique — and so is the way they learn.
I dreamed of creating a preschool where children are not rushed, but given the time, space, and emotional safety to grow at their own pace. One toddler step at a time.
When my children were little, I felt that preschools were either too academic — or only play with no focus on milestones. Yet the early years are the most critical for emotional, social, language, and developmental growth.
I wanted to change that — to build a space where love, safety, milestone-based development, and joyful learning come together.
At The Cardinal Preschool, ABC learning matters — but it is not the foundation. The foundation is security, belonging, care, and holistic growth. And that is the change we are bringing to early childhood education.
